Acuson Ultrasound

Acuson was founded in 1979 with the introduction of the 128XP. By the ninties Acuson was producing the Sequoia, the highest selling ultrasound system on the market. In 2000 Acuson ultrasound was purchased by Siemens which continued producing the Sequoia 512 until 2008. The portable Acuson Cypress and Cypress Plus was also produced by Acuson and Siemens. The Acuson ultrasound Sonoline Antares and Sonoline G50 were added later. The Acuson ultrasound "X" series, X150 and X300 are the newest entry-level ultrasound systems from Siemens.
