Intelligent Component
Architecture Enables Toshiba’s breakthrough technologies to provide
excellent diagnostic results. Aplio’s components operate autonomously and
communicate with one another directly. This enables the system to perform
highly complex data operations in real time resulting in unparalleled image
quality and sensitivity.
Tera Processing Beamformer
Produces a continuous thin beam with focal–point uniformity over all depths,
resulting in excellent sensitivity and resolution. Aplio has dedicated
processing channels for each individual transducer element and calculates
optimum delay pattern real time for each element at each depth.
Quantification ApliGate™ is
Aplio’s integrated data management tool, which can obtain raw data,
image–level data and data in PC format, so it is ideal for routine purposes
as well as research and quantification studies.
For raw data, Aplio offers a
selection of advanced measurement and analysis packages including contrast
for cardiac applications, 3–D quantification and post–measurement options
resulting in greater diagnostic confidence.
Connectivity Aplio supports all
DICOM service classes. Its extensive communication and data management
facilities enable seamless integration into hospital and research
environment including communication with:
• HIS/RIS systems
• Patient databases
• Remove services
• Conversion to PC format
• IHE & HIPAA Compliance
SPECIAL SOFTWARE FEATURES
ApliPure The next
generation of real–time compound imaging technology using both spatial and
frequency compounding simultaneously to deliver images of outstanding
clarity and detail resolution.
• Enables faster image
acquisition, greater clarity, and reduced speckle
• Based on real-time image
acquisition using either fundamental or pulse subtraction THI frequencies
• Render alone or with color

Differential Tissue Harmonics
(D-THI) Exclusive to Toshiba and a patented technology, D-THI is applicable
to transducers with BT Technology. Sends two frequencies simultaneously for
differential frequency generation to obtain high–sensitivity and
high–resolution images.
Quick Scan For one-button
optimization of the 2–D image. Equalizes thousands of image points, forming
an image with balanced tissue brightness throughout the field of view.
Trapezoid Imaging Enables
trapezoid imaging format on the following transducers: • All linear array
transducers (except for PLT-308P) • All sector transducers (except for
PET-510MA and PET-508MA)
Advanced Dynamic Flow
Provides high-resolution color imaging of microvessels within tumors and
organs. Provides superior resolution as compared to conventional color or
power Doppler by applying the same ultra-high bandwidth normally used in
grayscale to Doppler signal processing.
Available on the following:
