Its acoustic amplifier reflects energy back that can contribute to the electric signal and increase penetration and resolution. It also features better heat dissipation, allowing for a higher transmit power without exceeding maximum surface temperature. The GE 3SC-RS has a frequency of 1.5-4.0 MHz, a 29% improvement over the 3S-RS, and is compatible with GE’s Vivid line of ultrasound machines as well as the Logiq P9, Logiq e, and Logiq e R7.
