Vascular ultrasound machines use sound waves to evaluate blood flow through vessels to the body’s tissues and organs and identify blockages or clots in arteries and veins. Ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging solution free from ionizing radiation that supplies important soft tissue imaging.
Diagnostic imaging at the point of care means a clinician is no longer required to move a patient from room to room or send a patient to another location for an ultrasound scan. Point-of-care ultrasonography (POCUS) not only makes a patient more comfortable during an examination but is an extremely powerful diagnostic tool that speeds up the process of diagnosing medical issues.
There are a variety of point of care ultrasound machines suited for Vascular ultrasound examinations. National Ultrasound’s expert team, made up of experienced sonographers, has highlighted four units from entry, mid, high and flagship levels. These units were selected based on their features, options, performance and price to help you identify a unit best suited to fit your practice’s needs and budget.
