Comparing the New Mindray Z60 to the Mindray Z6

The Mindray Z60 is the new upgraded model of the Mindray Z6. The Mindray Z60 ultrasound system is the perfect solution for the practice looking to perform consistent ob/gyn, basic cardiac, vascular and general imaging exams.

Key Differences Between the Mindray Z6 and Mindray Z60 Models

We wanted to highlight the key differences between the original Mindray Z6 and the new Mindray Z60 models. The Z60 has increased the transducer lineup from the Z6 to now include the C6-2P curved linear probe with higher IQ. The 7L4BP linear probe with higher IQ and the P7-3P cardiac probe with higher frequency.

New Software Options in the Mindray Z60

New software features include 4D and iLive imaging, making the Z60 an affordably competitive option against GE’s 4D machines. Other new software options, that were previously only available in higher-range Mindray models, are Tissue Doppler Imaging in Color, Power, PW and M-mode. Smart OB and Smart Face, these ob/gyn options use auto-detection and optimization of the fetal biometry and facial features in 4D. Natural touch elastography is available on the linear probes and contrast imaging is available on the convex probes. iWorks is now available as a standard feature included in the Z60 system. iWorks is a feature that includes standard work protocols built-in to the machine that can be turned on while scanning to make scanning more efficient by showing each step that should be included in a standard scan. The Z60 includes all the original Z6 features.
