Siemens Ultrasound Machines
Acuson was founded in 1979 with the introduction of the 128XP. By the ninties Acuson was producing the Sequoia, the highest selling ultrasound system on the market. In 2000 Acuson was purchased by Siemens ultrasound which continued producing the Sequoia 512 until 2008. The portable Acuson Cypress and Cypress Plus was also produced by Siemens ultrasound. The Acuson Sonoline Antares and Sonoline G50 were added later. The Acuson “X” series, X150 and X300 are the newest entry-level ultrasound systems from Siemens ultrasound.
