Ultrasound Needle Guides

How to use InnoFine’s general purpose needle guides:

An ultrasound needle guide is typically utilized by a radiologist or surgeon to obtain tissue samples (biopsy) of an abnormality that is discovered in a radiology scan. An ultrasound-guided biopsy is typically performed under general anesthesia. Ultrasound is used to locate the abnormality and a biopsy needle guide is used to pinpoint and guide the needle to the exact location. The tissue that is collected in the ultrasound guided needle biopsy is then examined by a pathologist.

Ultrasound needle guides can be general purpose (commonly used in procedures for small parts, tissue biopsies, fluid aspirations, kidney/liver biopsies, and vascular access) or endocavity needle guides (commonly used for transrectal prostate biopsies, transvaginal biopsies, and transvaginal egg retrieval). Ultrasound guides can be disposable or reusable.

National Ultrasound sells high-quality, FDA approved, and reusable needle guides from InnoFine, an excellent, innovative company in the interventional medical field.
